About

Medinteract was founded by Dr. John Dougherty in 2004 with the purpose of providing medical educational information to the public.  Dr. Dougherty’s goals include: increasing awareness of and early screening for Alzheimer’s disease, as well as other neurological disorders.

In 2008, Medinteract released the ALZselftest.com in 2008, after years of clinical research and trials. Dr. Dougherty is a leading neurologist and has been an Alzheimer’s specialist for the last fifteen years.  He is Director of the Cole Neuroscience Center, a memory disorder clinic in Knoxville, TN, where he follows more than 2,000 Alzheimer’s patients.  More on the ALZselftest, the first clinically proven, early warning screen for Alzheimer’s and dementia, available direct to consumers, can be found at ALZselftest.com.
